Anti-weed cover also named ground cover is manufactured by Batawa. It prevents the growth of weeds between plant rows. The ground cover does not allow sunlight to pass through and reflects the sunlight in a great amount. However, water drains through the fabric that is significant to prevent waterlogging and procure oxygen and nutrients to the plants' roots. This ground cover has been designed by woven polypropylene and it is ideal for seedbeds, greenhouses, and nurseries. It has high mechanical resistance that ensures its perfect operation even being stepped on by agricultural machinery. Ground cover is also fully functional to cover water reservoirs. It prevents water evaporation and filters the rainwater into the water reservoir. Width of the ground cover changes from 1m to 5 m. Weed covers are available in different colors: black, green, white or as request.
